Apple 'All Alone' In Front of Tablet Race

Apple 'All Alone' In Front of Tablet Race

"A hardware analyst for J.P. Morgan lifted his sales forecast for the tablet market today, but added that the field remains dominated by the iPad and so far lacks a strong rival.

In a note to clients, Mark Moskowitz boosted his unit sales forecast for the market by nearly 13% to 51.9 million units for this year. He expects Apple to account for more than 70% of those sales, as tablets based on other operating systems such as Google’s Android platform have so far failed to make a sizable dent in the marketplace."
